Deals: your pipeline from replies to won
Track every opportunity your campaigns create — value, stage, owner, contacts and next step — on a board you drag from first reply to won or lost.
Where: Left nav → Insight → Deals, and the Deals tab on any campaign
How to do it
- Create a deal: on the Replies page open the conversation and choose More → Create Deal, or click New Deal on the Deals page (Company, Contact name, Contact email, Value, Expected close, Stage), or on a campaign's Analytics page click Add Deal Value.
- Read the strip at the top: Open pipeline, Weighted forecast (value × the stage's win chance), Won, Win rate, Average deal and Sales cycle (days from created to won).
- Board: drag a card to another stage to move it. Dropping it on Lost asks for the reason; dropping it on Won marks it won. + Add Deal under a column starts a new deal in that stage.
- List: tick deals (or the box in the header for all of them) for Move to Stage, Assign Owner or Delete in bulk.
- Forecast: open value and weighted value by expected close month, how many deals reached each stage, and why deals were lost.
- Narrow it down with the search box (company, contact, tag), Owner, Campaign and Close Date. Needs Attention shows open deals with no activity in 14 days or no next step. Export CSV downloads what you're looking at.
Good to know
- Cards show the company, main contact, owner, value, close date and next step. "No activity Nd" means nobody has touched the deal — and its contacts haven't replied or been called — for that many days; "Close date passed" means the expected close date is behind you and it's still open; a next step in red is overdue or missing.
- A reply or a call from any of a deal's contacts counts as activity, so a deal whose buyer just wrote back isn't flagged.
- A campaign's Deals tab is the same board with only that campaign's deals; new deals made there are tied to the campaign, and the campaign's Analytics page shows the value won in its Pipeline card.
- A conversation has one deal: choosing Create Deal again on it opens the deal already made. It's named after the lead's company, or the email domain when there's no company — never gmail.com or outlook.com; free-mail addresses use the person's name instead.
- Deals never change what a campaign sends, and marking a deal won or lost doesn't touch the lead's status.
- Webhooks can post deal.created, deal.stage_changed, deal.won and deal.lost — pick them under Settings → API & webhooks.
Questions people ask
Who can own a deal?
Anyone on the team of the workspace the deal belongs to. A deal created from a reply starts with the conversation's owner (or whoever launched the campaign), otherwise with you — and when none of those is on that team, with the workspace's account holder.
What happens to a campaign's deals when the MailFleet team hands the campaign to me?
They move with it — contacts, notes, tasks and history included. Their owner is cleared so someone on your team can pick them up.
