A B2B lead database inside the outreach tool
Filter, reveal, verify, add to a list, send — without exporting a CSV from one tool and importing it into another. You pay once per person, ever, and the monthly allowance is part of the plan.
What's in it
53 million people at their current companies, searchable by:
- Job title — paste dozens at once; "manager" also matches "project manager", and similar titles (CEO / chief executive officer, VP / vice president, and so on) are matched automatically unless you turn that off. Exclude titles the same way.
- Seniority — C-suite, Founder, Owner, Partner, VP, Head, Director, Manager, Senior, Entry, Intern.
- Country and state, industry, and company size (1–10, 11–50, 51–200, 201–1,000, 1,001+).
- Email — any, has email, or verified in the source data — and has phone number.
- Name or company for a direct lookup.
Results update as you change filters, with an exact count up to 10,000 matches and a fetched total above that. Columns for company, location, email and phone can be shown or hidden.
Reveal and verify before you pay
Addresses are masked in results. Reveal shows the full address and checks it live against the mail server — Valid, Invalid, Catch-all or Unknown — with up to 12 seconds allowed for the answer and a verdict under 24 hours old reused instead of re-probing. Nothing is charged unless the address is actually shown, and a person you have revealed once is free forever after. A revealed person is saved straight to your leads — in a list called "Revealed from Lead Database" — so they take one place in your workspace like any lead.
This is the difference between a database and a list: you find out an address would bounce before it costs you a credit or a sender's reputation.
From search to campaign in one step
Tick people and Add to list, or Add in bulk to take the first N matches (up to 10,000) with a per-company cap — two people per company by default, so a big-company filter doesn't hand you forty names from one firm. Invalid, blocked and duplicate people are skipped for you. The list is immediately available to any campaign, and anyone already in your leads is matched by email and never charged twice.
Three tabs keep the spend honest: Total (everyone matching), Net new (only people you have never paid for — what an add would actually charge) and Saved (people you already own, free to export or re-add).
What it costs
Every plan includes a monthly Lead Database allowance alongside the leads it lets you keep:
| Trial | Basic | Pro | Scale | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lead Database people / month | 1,000 | 1,000 | 5,000 | 50,000 |
| Leads you can keep in your workspace | 2,000 | 2,000 | 30,000 | Unlimited |
| LinkedIn profile lookups / month | 100 | 100 | 1,000 | 10,000 |
One person new to your workspace uses one unit of the monthly allowance, and once you reveal, add or export them they take room in your workspace like any lead; everything you do with them afterwards — reveal again, add to another list, export — doesn't touch the allowance again. Both counters are shown at the top of the page and neither is ever over-charged: if an add would exceed what's left, the people who don't fit are left out and reported.
Compare that with buying data separately: Instantly sells its database as credit plans from $47 a month; lemlist sells pay-per-success credits. Neither approach is wrong, but a built-in allowance means the first thousand prospects a month come with the tool.
Two other things the database does
Find LinkedIn URLs. Most CSVs arrive without LinkedIn profiles. One click fills them for a list or a campaign, matching strictly — the person's email, or first name + last name + company domain resolving to exactly one person. If two people match, no URL is written. Only profiles actually found count against the monthly lookup allowance.
Phone numbers. Filter on "has phone number", or enrich a lead's direct number through your own Apollo key from Settings → Integrations for the in-app dialer and call steps.
Honest limits
It is 53 million people, not the 450M+ or 650M+ that Instantly and lemlist advertise. Coverage is strongest for B2B roles at companies with a web presence; if you need very long-tail consumer or local-business data, you will still buy that elsewhere. There are no buying-intent signals. And searches over 10,000 matches show a fetched total rather than an instant one.
How to use it
- Open Lead Database from the left nav (Engage → Lead Database). The header shows the live size of the database and how many leads your workspace holds, of your plan's limit.
- Add job titles (type for suggestions with counts, or paste a list), tick seniority, choose country, industry and company size. Set Email to Verified if you only want addresses marked verified in the source.
- Switch to the Net new tab to see what an add would actually charge.
- Reveal a few to check the verdicts, then Add in bulk with a per-company cap into a new list.
- Open Campaigns → your campaign → Leads → From an existing list and enrol the list. Duplicates, unsubscribes and bounced addresses are stripped automatically.
FAQ
Is the lead database included, or a separate subscription?
Included. Every plan has a monthly allowance (1,000 on Basic, 5,000 on Pro, 50,000 on Scale) and the trial has 1,000.
Are the emails verified?
Each address can be revealed and checked live against the mail server (Valid / Invalid / Catch-all / Unknown). The "Verified" email filter selects addresses marked verified in the source data.
What happens if I add someone who is already in my leads?
They are matched by email and skipped as "already in your leads" — nothing is charged.
Can I export the results?
Yes, as CSV. Only people new to your workspace are charged; exporting the Saved tab is free.
