Finding your way around: the sidebar

Every section of the sidebar, in order, and what lives in each one — and how it opens as a menu on a phone.

Where: Left sidebar (toggle with the panel icon top-left; when collapsed, hovering expands it). On a phone: the menu button at the top left.

How to do it

  1. Top of the sidebar: the panel icon pins or collapses it (hover a collapsed sidebar to peek). The MailFleet logo returns you to Overview. The red New campaign button takes you to the Campaigns page, where New campaign creates one.
  2. On a phone (a screen under 768 pixels wide) the sidebar is tucked away. A bar across the top has the menu button on the left, the MailFleet logo (back to Overview) and the Notifications bell with its unread count. Tap the menu button and the sidebar slides in over the page; tap a link, the ✕, or the dimmed page beside it to close it.
  3. Overview — the home page: greeting, a date range, four headline numbers, your recent campaigns, sending activity, replies waiting, sender health and what is due next.
  4. Notifications — alerts that need a person: deliverability incidents, mailboxes that disconnected, LinkedIn accounts to reconnect and campaign events. The badge is the unread count.
  5. Engage → Campaigns — every email campaign with its progress ring and Sent, Opened, Clicked, Replied, Positive and Bounced columns (Unsubscribed under Metrics), filters, search, Duplicate and Delete. Opening a campaign shows tabs Analytics · Emails · Deals · Leads · Sequence · Subsequences · Settings.
  6. Engage → Multi Channel (New) — campaigns that mix automated email, calls, manual tasks and LinkedIn touches in one sequence.
  7. Engage → LinkedIn — standalone LinkedIn campaigns (profile views, connection requests, messages), optionally fed by an email campaign. Shown only when LinkedIn is enabled for your workspace.
  8. Engage → Replies — one inbox for every mailbox, with Inbox, Unread, Important, Snoozed and Archived folders, Interested and Needs an owner views, plus Untracked, Bounced and Warmup. The badge is the number of replies waiting.
  9. Engage → Tasks — manual-email and phone-call steps waiting on a person. The badge is the number of open tasks.
  10. Engage → Calls (Add-on) — the in-browser dialer and call log. Shown only when the calling add-on is on for your workspace.
  11. Engage → Leads — your lists: import CSVs, create lists, browse and filter leads by status and engagement, find LinkedIn URLs, delete a list.
  12. Engage → Lead Database — search a database of people by title, seniority, country, industry and company size and add them to a list (each new lead takes room in your workspace).
  13. Infrastructure → Mailboxes — every mailbox you send from: connect, verify, pause and resume, set daily limits and gaps, warmup, signatures, tags, bulk edit, and a Domains tab for SPF/DKIM/DMARC. (This page's address is /senders and some text calls them senders — same thing.)
  14. Infrastructure → LinkedIn Accounts — connected LinkedIn profiles that run LinkedIn steps. Shown only when LinkedIn is enabled for your workspace.
  15. Infrastructure → Deliverability — SPF, DKIM and DMARC status for each sending domain, plus domain-level sending health.
  16. Insight → Reports — the funnel across all campaigns, per-campaign rates, volume by sender, and exports.
  17. Insight → Deals (New) — your sales pipeline: deals created from replies or by hand, on a board of stages you drag them across, with a list, a forecast, and each deal's contacts, notes, tasks and history.
  18. Workspace → Billing — your plan, leads in your workspace and email credits, Lead Database usage this month, add-ons, invoices and payment method.
  19. Workspace → Settings — tabs on the left: Workspace, Members, Sending defaults, Reply forwarding, Notifications, Enrichment, Tracking, Calls (only with the add-on), Blocklist, Integrations, API & webhooks.
  20. Bottom of the sidebar: Help & news opens Garfield on the Help tab — search the common questions and every Help Center article, filter by topic, or ask Garfield — with a News tab beside it for what shipped (a dot on Help & news means news you haven't opened yet); Support opens Garfield, MailFleet support — your previous conversations, each with a dot when the team has replied, and Send a message for a new one (Garfield answers from the product knowledge; say 'talk to someone' and the team replies in the same conversation and by email); your name opens the account menu.

Good to know

  • Sidebar sections are grouped under the headings Engage, Infrastructure, Insight and Workspace; Overview and Notifications sit above the groups.
  • Badges: Notifications shows unread notifications, Replies shows replies not yet handled, Tasks shows open tasks. When the sidebar is collapsed a red dot marks the same items.
  • The 'New' and 'Add-on' labels next to Multi Channel, Email Verification, Deals and Calls are static tags, not counts.
  • then (on a trial or paid plan) either Free trial with the days left, or the plan name with how many days until it renews, plus your leads and email credits
  • Whether the sidebar is pinned or collapsed is remembered in your browser.
  • On a phone the page uses the full width of the screen and the sidebar opens as a drawer with every label showing; the pin button is hidden there. Going to another page closes the drawer, as do Escape and turning the screen to a width where the sidebar fits beside the page. Garfield's floating chat button hides while the drawer is open.
  • The sidebar is hidden on the login, sign-up and maintenance pages, and on a shared read-only campaign report.
