Manage a Multi Channel campaign

Pause, resume, edit, duplicate or delete a Multi Channel campaign and read its Overview, Leads, Steps and Senders tabs.

Where: Engage → Multi Channel → list row (running switch, View, "⋮" → Edit campaign · Duplicate · Delete campaign) → campaign page with Pause / Launch / Resume, Edit campaign and tabs Overview · Leads · Steps · Senders

How to do it

  1. On the list, flip the switch in a row to pause or resume (if it can't — for example every mailbox the campaign picked is gone — it flips back and the reason shows under the campaign's name), press View to open a campaign ("Finish setup" for a draft), or open "⋮" for Edit campaign, Duplicate and Delete campaign.
  2. On the campaign page press Pause to stop new steps, Resume (or Launch for a never-started campaign) to continue, and Edit campaign to reopen the wizard.
  3. Overview: Contacted, Connections Sent, Emails Sent (with how many were delivered, bounced and blocked), Calls Logged (with connected), Replied and Interested. Below: the Sequence, a Funnel (Contacted → Opened → Replied → Interested) and Details (sequence length, senders, schedule, started/created).
  4. Leads: filter chips All · In progress · On a task · Replied · Finished · Bounced, a search box, and per lead the status, "Where they are" (step and its label, or Finished), a Connected tag once a request is accepted, when an open task is due, and the last activity line.
  5. Steps: "Step by step" table with Waiting here (people at this step now), Done (people who moved past it), Outcome and Result per step.
  6. Senders: each LinkedIn account with its Connections sent (the Replies, Emails sent and Interested columns show "—" for LinkedIn accounts), and each mailbox with Emails sent, Replies (with a reply rate) and Interested.

Good to know

  • List statuses read Ongoing, Paused, Finished or Draft. The list header totals Campaigns (· live), Leads enrolled, Contacted, Replied and Interested.
  • Replied and Interested count people — out-of-office and auto-replies left out — on the list and the campaign page alike, and the Funnel's Opened counts people with any recorded open, including the automatic ones mail-security scanners make. An email that bounced or was blocked as spam wasn't delivered and never counts as opened.
  • "Contacted" counts a lead only once its first touch has gone out.
  • "On a task" covers a lead waiting on a manual email or call task and also a lead whose LinkedIn action is queued.
  • Pausing stops new steps; replies still arrive in Replies. Queued LinkedIn actions are cancelled and queued again when you resume; one the account is already running still finishes.
  • If every mailbox a Multi Channel campaign picked is deleted (or moved to another workspace), it is paused rather than switched to all your mailboxes (a draft stays a draft). A red alert on its page says which mailboxes went and when, with "Pick mailboxes in Edit campaign → Senders"; the list shows "No mailbox — …" under its name. Resume or Launch (the list switch too) is refused with "Pick at least one mailbox in Edit campaign → Senders before resuming — its only mailbox, sam@acme.co, was deleted." The alert's link opens Edit campaign on the Senders step, which shows the same alert: tick at least one mailbox, click Save changes, then resume. The Notifications entry links to the campaign.
  • The Leads tab loads up to 2,000 leads; the total is shown on the tab.
  • Details → Senders lists the campaign's mailboxes and LinkedIn accounts, or "Rotates across all healthy mailboxes" when neither is attached; while every mailbox the campaign picked is gone it starts with "No mailbox picked".
  • LinkedIn-only campaigns have their own list and page under Engage → LinkedIn (see Manage a LinkedIn campaign).
