The lead card: viewing and editing a lead

Click any lead's name to open a side panel with their contact details, status, list, campaign progress, emails, replies, company insight and every field — all editable in place.

Where: Leads → click a name · Campaign → Leads tab → click a name · actions: Edit details, Email, Call, Remove from campaign

How to do it

  1. Click the lead's name. The header shows name, title at company and country, with LinkedIn and website links when known.
  2. Read Contact information (Email, Phone, LinkedIn, Website, Location, Local time) and Record details (Campaign, Step, Lead status, List, Source, Added, Last activity).
  3. Click Edit details to turn every field into an input. Changes save automatically 3 seconds after your last keystroke ("Unsaved changes…", "Saving…", "Saved"). Click Done to finish.
  4. Use the tabs: Sequence or Emails (every step and every email sent, with open/click marks — or Bounced / Blocked for an email that never arrived — and a view of the email as sent), Replies (with Open inbox), Company (details from the Lead Database), Campaigns / Also in, and All fields.
  5. Click Email to start a message in your mail app, Call to dial when a phone number exists, or — inside a campaign — Remove from campaign.

Good to know

  • Editable fields: First name, Last name, Email, Title, Company, Website, Industry, Employees, City, Country, Phone, LinkedIn, Timezone, plus every custom variable. Clearing a field empties it.
  • Changing the email is refused if another lead in your workspace already uses it ("Another lead already uses that email address").
  • Source shows "Lead Database" for people added from the database.
  • The All fields tab lists the 13 standard fields then Custom fields, each with its {{key}} chip; drag custom fields to reorder (saved workspace-wide).
  • When a step's copy is entirely a single variable, an "Edit copy" button lets you write a personal subject or body for that one lead before it sends.
  • Local time is shown when the lead has a timezone.
  • Remove from campaign on an email campaign takes the lead out of it (adding them back later starts them at step 1). On a LinkedIn campaign it ends their sequence there instead — a lead still in the sequence stays listed as Finished, marked "Removed from “<campaign>”" (a replied, bounced or unsubscribed lead keeps its status), so the campaign's list or feeding email campaign can't add them back. Either way they stay in your Leads.
  • On the emails list, an email's open mark lights up for any recorded open, the automatic ones mail-security scanners make included, and its click mark only for a person — a click 5 minutes or more after it was sent. Hover a grey click mark to see whether a scanner clicked in the first minutes (not counted). An email that bounced or was blocked as spam shows Bounced or Blocked instead, with when the notice came.
