Lead Database: adding people to a list and Add in bulk
Tick people and click Add to list, or use Add in bulk to take the first N matches with a per-company cap — each new lead takes room in your workspace and one unit of the monthly allowance, with invalid, blocked and duplicate people skipped for you.
Where: Lead Database → tick rows → Add to list · Lead Database → Add in bulk (beside the result count)
How to do it
- Tick the people you want (the checkbox in the header selects the whole page). The bar shows "N selected", plus how many have no email or an invalid email.
- Click Add to list. In the dialog choose a List ("New list…" or an existing one with its count) and, for a new list, a List name (e.g. "US SaaS directors"). Click Add N.
- For a whole search, click Add in bulk instead. Enter How many people (1 to 10,000; the field starts at 1,000 or the match count if lower) and Max per company (1 to 100; starts at 2; leave blank for no limit), choose the list and click Add N.
- Read the green notice: "N added to “list”", followed by anything skipped — already in your leads, no email, invalid email, on your blocklist, not added because your workspace is full, over this month's allowance.
Good to know
- You can tick up to 2,000 people at once. A new list created here is named "Lead Database YYYY-MM-DD" unless you type a name.
- People are skipped, never charged, when: they have no email on file, our verifier found the address invalid or the domain has no mail server, the address or company domain is on your blocklist, or they are already in your workspace (by email).
- Add in bulk counts only usable people, so the number you enter is the number of new leads you get — it walks the matches in order, honours the per-company cap and stops when your room for leads or monthly allowance runs out ("capped at …").
- On very sparse filters the scan gives up after 1.5 million rows or 90 seconds and reports "stopped at N — narrow the filters for the rest"; a filter too broad to scan returns "narrow it down a little". One bulk add at a time (about six a minute).
- What lands on the lead: first and last name, title, company, website, industry, employee count, phone (if on file), LinkedIn URL, city, country, plus a State custom field. Names and titles are case-corrected. The lead card shows Source: Lead Database.
- The person panel's Add to list button is disabled when there is no email on file and hidden when the person is already in your workspace.
- Free people (already saved) are added before charged ones, so reaching the monthly allowance can never cost you someone you already paid for.
