LinkedIn4 steps

Condition steps (branch on replied, opened, clicked, accepted)

Insert a Condition to check what a lead has done — stop the sequence for people who already engaged or, on a LinkedIn campaign, let only people who accepted your invite carry on.

Where: Multi Channel wizard or LinkedIn campaign editor → 02 Sequence → palette "Condition" (or + between steps) → the Condition panel: "Check whether the lead has…" (LinkedIn editor) or "When the lead has…" (Multi Channel), and Within (days)

How to do it

  1. Add a Condition where you want the check to happen.
  2. On a LinkedIn campaign pick "Accepted the invite" (a new condition's default) or "Replied", and set Within: 1–21 days for Accepted (default 14), 1–30 for Replied.
  3. On a Multi Channel campaign pick Replied, Opened, Clicked a link or Accepted connection under "When the lead has…", and set Within (1–30, default 2).
  4. Press Delete Condition to remove it.

Good to know

  • "Accepted within N days?" (LinkedIn campaigns): leads who have accepted your invite — at any time, even before they reach the condition — go straight on to the next step (YES). Anyone still not connected N days after the previous step leaves the sequence (NO: "End — invite stays pending"), with the activity "Invite not accepted within N days — sequence ended; the invite stays pending". MailFleet never withdraws an invite. N can't go past 21 because acceptances are only watched for 21 days after an invite.
  • The older Accepted rule works the other way round: leads who accepted within the window stop there and everyone else continues. Accepted conditions saved before the new rule existed keep it, as does every "Accepted connection" condition in a Multi Channel campaign. In the LinkedIn editor such a condition says "Older rule: leads who accepted stop here" with a "Switch To: Accepted Continue" button; after switching, "Keep the older rule" puts it back until you save.
  • Every other condition waits its full window: the lead is parked for that many days after the previous step, then MailFleet checks whether the event happened during those days. A match (YES) ends the sequence — the lead is marked Finished at the condition — and everyone else (NO) continues to the next step with its normal wait.
  • Replied counts any reply from this lead, auto-replies included (bounces excluded) — a real reply already stops every sequence and lands in Replies; Opened and Clicked a link count opens/clicks on emails sent by this campaign — any the bot filter lets through, including clicks in the first minutes after sending that the reported Clicked number leaves out; Accepted uses the acceptance MailFleet detected from the account's connections list.
  • A Condition has no wait of its own; its window advances the day count shown on the canvas.
  • Results: on a LinkedIn campaign's Steps tab an "Accepted within N days?" row shows how many accepted and continued and how many ended; an older-rule or Replied row shows how many stopped there and how many continued. A Multi Channel campaign's Steps tab shows "Stop · N moved to Replies" for matches.
