Blocking someone from a reply
Block Lead on a conversation removes that person from every campaign and adds their address to your blocklist so they are never contacted again. Block Domain does the same for everyone at their company.
Where: Replies → open a conversation → More → Block Lead (or Block Domain)
How to do it
- Open the conversation under Replies.
- Click More → Block Lead. Confirm "Block <name>? They're removed from every campaign and added to your blocklist — you won't contact them again."
- The lead's status becomes Blocked, every enrolment is stopped, and the address appears under Settings → Blocklist with source "blocked from a reply". The line under their name reads "Blocked — never contacted again".
- To block their whole company instead, click More → Block Domain (or press B then L) and confirm. Free-mail domains such as gmail.com can't be blocked this way.
Good to know
- Because the address is recorded as a blocklist entry, it stays refused even if the lead itself is later deleted.
- To reverse it, open the conversation → More → Unblock Lead (it returns them to New and removes the address entry), or use Settings → Blocklist → Blocked people → Unblock. A domain entry is removed with More → Unblock Domain or on the Blocklist page.
- Marking a reply Won sets the lead to Won and archives the conversation; it does not block or unsubscribe anyone.
