Add or remove the mailbox signature per step
Each email step, and each A/B variant, can send with or without the sending mailbox's signature.
Where: Sequence editor → under the body → tick box "Add the mailbox signature when this step sends"; each variant has a smaller "Add the mailbox signature" tick box.
How to do it
- Select the step. Leave the tick box on to append the signature of whichever sender mailbox sends it.
- Untick it when the copy already carries its own sign-off — the step goes out exactly as written.
- For a variant, use its own tick box; a variant without its own choice follows the step's setting.
Good to know
- Default is on. Signatures themselves are set per mailbox, on its General tab on the Mailboxes page.
- The unsubscribe line is separate — it is still added when the campaign's "Unsubscribe line in every email" setting is on, signature or not.
- Send test respects the tick box, and the Emails tab preview of a scheduled email shows the likely sender's signature (with a note if the sender may differ).
