Lead statuses that come from replies
Replied, Won, Unsubscribed, Blocked and Bounced are set for you as replies and delivery reports arrive — here is what each one means and where to find it.
Where: Leads → Status filter and the Suppressed rail item; a campaign's Leads tab → Replied / Bounced / Unsubscribed filters; the line under the lead's name in Replies
How to do it
- Replied — the person sent a real reply (email or LinkedIn). Set automatically; their sequences are stopped. On the Leads page use the Engagement filter "Replied" (it counts anyone with a logged reply, including out-of-office); in a campaign use the Replied filter.
- Meeting — you marked the conversation Meeting booked (Mark lead as), or a call was logged as booked.
- Won — you marked the conversation Won (Mark lead as → Won). It moves to Archived in Replies.
- Unsubscribed — a Not interested reply, an unsubscribe link, or you marked the conversation Unsubscribed. Removed from every campaign; listed under Settings → Blocklist → Blocked people; Unblock returns them to New.
- Blocked — you used Block Lead or Block Domain on a conversation, or added them under Settings → Blocklist. Stopped everywhere and refused on import, enrolment and send.
- Bounced — a permanent delivery failure. Out of every campaign; cannot be enrolled or pushed into a subsequence.
Good to know
- Bounced, Unsubscribed and Blocked are suppression statuses: those leads are kept out of every list's scope and appear only under Suppressed on the Leads page.
- Replied, Meeting and Won are shown in the accent colour; Bounced, Unsubscribed and Blocked in grey.
- An out-of-office reply does not change the lead's status; it only adds an activity line such as "Out of office until Sep 21 — next step held" when a return date held something.
- A policy-blocked delivery does not change status either — it leaves "Email blocked as spam — not delivered; the next step continues later" on the activity line, the email counts as Blocked (not Bounced) and the lead stays active.
Questions people ask
What's the difference between Unsubscribed and Blocked?
Unsubscribed comes from the person (a Not interested reply or an unsubscribe link); Blocked comes from you (Block Lead or Block Domain on a conversation, or the Blocklist page). Both stop every campaign and are refused for new sends. Either is undone with Unblock under Settings → Blocklist → Blocked people, which also removes the address from the blocklist entries.
