Schedule: days, window, timezone and pace

Decide which days and hours a campaign may send, in which timezone, how far apart emails go from each sender, and how many new people start per day.

Where: Campaign → Settings → Schedule ("Days, window, pace") → Save changes.

How to do it

  1. Pick the Timezone the window is evaluated in (default UTC).
  2. Optionally turn on "Use each lead's timezone" (Recommended): the window is checked in each lead's own local time from the CSV "timezone" column (IANA names like America/New_York); leads without one use the campaign timezone.
  3. Click the day buttons (Mon–Sun) to set Sending days. Default Mon–Fri.
  4. Set the Sending window with the clock pickers ("Window start" / "Window end" — pick the hour, then minutes, then Done). Default 09:00–16:30. A window like 22:00–02:00 wraps past midnight.
  5. Set "one email every N minutes ± jitter" (default 20, range 1–240). The figures below update: sends per sender per day and the total across your senders.
  6. Set "New leads entering per day" (default 100; 0 means no cap) to ramp the campaign instead of emailing the whole list on day one.
  7. Click Save changes.

Good to know

  • Nothing sends outside the sending days and window. When the window is closed, the Emails → Scheduled tab shows when it next opens and when each email will actually leave.
  • Waits between steps count in calendar days from the previous send. If a wait ends outside the window (say on a Sunday), the email leaves at the next open slot (Monday at the window start), so nothing lands on a day you excluded.
  • Spacing per sender is the larger of this campaign's gap and the sender's own gap (set on the Mailboxes page), randomised by ±30% so a 20-minute gap becomes roughly 14–26 minutes. It spaces first emails to new leads; a follow-up in an existing thread goes from that thread's mailbox without waiting for the gap. Each sender's daily limit from the Mailboxes page applies on top.
  • "New leads entering per day" counts first emails only; follow-ups always continue. The counter resets at midnight UTC. Leads over the cap simply wait for the next day.
  • Start date is saved with the campaign but is not enforced by sending — use Pause/Launch to control when it starts.
  • The sidebar note applies: changes affect future sends only; emails already queued for today keep their slot.

Questions people ask

Why did a lead's follow-up go out on Monday when I set a 3-day wait on Thursday?
The wait ended on Sunday, which isn't a sending day, so it left at the first open slot on Monday.
