Attach files to a step
Attach files to a specific email step; they go out with that step only, within fixed size limits.
Where: Sequence editor → "Attachments" section under the A/B variants → "Attach files".
How to do it
- Select the step and click Attach files (you can pick several at once).
- Each file appears with its size; click the X to remove one.
- Reordering or deleting steps keeps files with their step.
Good to know
- Limits per step (one email): up to 10 files, 5 MB per file, 15 MB total. Empty files are rejected. Error text example: "Too many files — 10 max per email."
- The footer shows "X of 15 MB · up to 10 files. Attachments can hurt cold-email deliverability."
- Attachments apply to every variant of that step. Duplicating a campaign does not copy attachments.
