Alerts when a mailbox stops working
When a mailbox goes into Error for a real credential or account problem, MailFleet emails your workspace, adds a Notifications row and shows a red banner on every page.
Where: Red banner at the top of every page → "Fix on Senders"; Notifications page ("Mailbox … disconnected"); email "Action needed: N mailboxes stopped working"
How to do it
- When the banner "A mailbox is disconnected and skipped when sending." appears, click "Fix on Senders".
- Read the reason in the "Mailbox … disconnected" row on the Notifications page or in the email, fix it (see the Connection error article) and click "Reconnect" on the mailbox (its row's ⋯ menu or its page), or "Recheck Connections" on the Mailboxes page.
- The disconnect email goes to every member of the workspace and cannot currently be switched off; the Settings → Notifications → "Mailboxes" switch controls other mailbox notifications but not this alert.
Good to know
- The sweep runs every 5 minutes; each failure is reported once. When the mailbox is connected again the flag clears so a later failure is reported afresh.
- The email lists up to 12 mailboxes with their error text and notes "Campaigns keep sending from your other connected mailboxes; this one is skipped until it reconnects."
- Temporary connection problems never trigger an alert — only genuine credential or account failures do.
