CSV columns the mailbox import accepts
Reference for every column name the mailbox importer recognises, what it maps to, and the defaults used when a column is missing.
Where: Mailboxes → "Import CSV" → "Import Mailboxes" → "Choose a CSV"
How to do it
- Put one mailbox per row with a header row. Column names are matched case-insensitively and spaces become underscores, so "SMTP Password" and smtp_password both work.
- Include at minimum: an email column (from_email, email or sender_email) and a password column (password, smtp_password, app_password or app_pass).
- For non-Google providers also include smtp_host (or smtp_server / host) and smtp_port (or port). Add imap_host and imap_port so replies, bounces and warmup can be read.
- Optionally add the settings columns listed below, then upload.
Good to know
- Identity: from_name / name / sender_name (or first_name + last_name, joined) — falls back to the email address. email / from_email / sender_email is required.
- smtp_secure / smtp_ssl / smtp_tls (true = implicit SSL/TLS; false = STARTTLS, or none on port 25; blank = decided by port: 465 → SSL/TLS, 25 → none, anything else → STARTTLS).
- IMAP: imap_host / imap_server; imap_port (defaults to 993 when a host is given); imap_user_name / imap_username — defaults to the email; imap_password / imap_pass — defaults to the SMTP password; imap_secure / imap_ssl / imap_tls (993 → SSL/TLS, otherwise STARTTLS).
- Sending: max_email_per_day / daily_limit / max_emails_per_day (default 30).
- Warmup: warmup_enabled / warmup (true, 1, yes or y = on); total_warmup_per_day / warmup_per_day (clamped to 0–20 on import); daily_rampup / daily_ramp_up / rampup; reply_rate_percentage / reply_rate (0–100).
- Other: bcc (the mailbox's BCC to CRM address: campaign emails, task emails, replies and forwards are copied to it; a value that isn't one email address, or is the mailbox's own, is kept but sends no copy until you change it on the mailbox's General tab); signature (legacy single-field signature, used only while no Text/HTML signature is set — the mailbox's General tab shows it until you write one there); different_reply_to_address / reply_to / reply_to_address; custom_tracking_url / custom_tracking_domain / tracking_domain (stored per mailbox; scheme and path are stripped — links use the workspace's tracking domain, not this one).
- Columns the importer doesn't recognise are ignored, not errors.
- Without an IMAP host the mailbox can send but MailFleet cannot read its inbox: no reply/bounce detection and it is left out of warmup (its Warmup column reads "Needs IMAP to warm").
