Senders & warmup5 steps

Daily limit and minimum gap per sender

Each mailbox has its own hard ceiling on emails per day and a minimum number of minutes between its first emails to new leads; the sending engine enforces both.

Where: Mailboxes → open a mailbox → General tab → Sending Limits → "Emails Per Day" and "Minimum Gap Between Emails" → "Save Changes". Quick Settings (pencil on its row) → "Daily Volume", "Gap Between Emails". In bulk: select rows → "Bulk Edit" → General → "Sending Settings" → switch to Overwrite → "Emails Per Day", "Minimum Gap (Minutes)" → "Apply to N Mailboxes"

How to do it

  1. Open the mailbox and go to the General tab.
  2. Set "Emails Per Day" — the most emails this mailbox sends in a day. Everything sent from it counts: campaign emails, replies and forwards you send from Replies, and test emails. Warmup runs on top of it.
  3. Set "Minimum Gap Between Emails" — the fewest minutes between two first emails to new leads from this mailbox. The line under it says how fast that sends the day's limit (e.g. "First emails: up to 3 an hour · at least 9 h 40 min to send 30. Follow-ups in a thread don't wait for the gap.").
  4. Click "Save Changes" in the bar at the bottom of the page ("Discard" undoes every unsaved edit). For a quick change, the pencil on the mailbox's row opens Quick Settings with the same two fields.
  5. To change many at once, tick the rows on the Mailboxes list, click "Bulk Edit", switch the "Sending Settings" section to Overwrite, enter the values and click "Apply to N Mailboxes". Sections left on "Keep As Is" are untouched.

Good to know

  • Allowed range: 1–2000 per day; gap 0–1440 minutes. CSV imports default to 30/day and 20 minutes.
  • The Mailboxes list shows today's usage (campaign emails, replies and tests) as "sent / limit" in the Sent Today column and the gap in the Gap column; the Sent Today card adds up the active mailboxes.
  • The day resets at midnight UTC.
  • Failed attempts count toward the limit as well as successes (a failed attempt still opened a login with the provider). A test send uses one slot, and so does each reply or forward you send from Replies — once the limit is reached they're refused with "Daily limit reached." until the next UTC day. Warmup emails never count.
  • The mailbox gap is a floor: a campaign's own "gap between emails" can widen it but never shorten it. Actual spacing is jittered ±30% around the larger of the two so sends don't fall on a fixed interval. The gap spaces the emails the rotation picks a mailbox for — first emails to new leads; a follow-up in an existing thread goes from that thread's mailbox once it's due, without waiting for the gap.
  • A campaign's sending window and "one email every N minutes" gap produce the "sends per sender per day" figure shown in its Settings — the per-sender daily limit still wins on top of that ("Per-sender daily caps from Senders still apply on top of this").
  • Settings → Sending defaults → "Daily cap per sender" is stored but is not applied to newly imported mailboxes; set limits per mailbox or via Bulk Edit.
  • The engine re-reads limits and gaps every 2 minutes, so an edit takes effect on the next sending pass.
